Where the EDMS function is licensed if an officer opens a process and clicks on the Documents tab there is a 'Create a Document' button. This allows one to access the templates available for the process in question.
One can also set a document type for the template being created - for consistency of ensuring process documents have an associated type.
Again - multiple types can be associated.
The resulting PDF can be seen once saved:
