Service Areas are the departments of the council in which contacts will be logged in Customer Service Vu. These are set up within the OneVu Control function as shown below:
Tip
The arrows on the right hand side enable you to change the order of these, as this is the order that they will appear in the drop down.
If one clicks to Add a Service area there are the following sections:
Which one can add content to or select:
Name
Description
Contact Types (these are the reasons within the department for calling)
Simply click the Add Contact Type button to add more
Use the up down arrows to change their position
Use check marker to enable / disable the contact type
Note Types are across all service areas to maximise reuse of obvious note types.
As many note types as desired can be selected.
Once the service is saved, a new option becomes available so be sure to go into it after saving it to go an add the 'Avoidable contact reasons'.
To add these go back into the Service Area after it is initially set up. Like contact types you can use the 'Order' arrows to change the order of them and the check boxes to enable/disable them:
