The service diagnostics function enables you to check the information that was sent and received

When a person's email is provided and searched for, if that person has attempted authentication a row (or rows) will appear. In the example below the person had authenticated as a landlord where the back office was Civica OpenRevenues:

Here they registered for Council Tax where the back office was Northgate:

When one clicks on a row it shows the messages sent to and received back from the back-office application in question. This includes:

• The URL used for each API call

• The Request (where one is sent)

• The Response

This functionality is useful where the citizen is unable to progress past authentication, as it shows which specific API call failed and one can see the XML request/response to determine what the issue is.
