Adding a URL endpoint to an API Directory & Hybrid Directory

If you have selected API as the data source for the directory you have created, paste the end point URL in the Url field. Selecting the FETCH FIELDS button will trigger a query to the API and return the fields and sample data from the first record. If you see a similar structure to the Name & Sample Data table below, this has been successful and can be saved.

Notes As the data source for this Directory is an API, records will be automatically populated. As data is maintained within the target system, typically a GIS, any updates will automatically be reflected when users view the directory

A Hybrid Directory enables you select a data source of API and add additional fields to the structure and manually add record data. This is useful if you want to present additional information to the user that isn’t contained within the API data source.
