Importing a CSV file to a Hybrid Directory

If you have selected CSV as the data source for a Hybrid Directory, you can either choose to manually define the field structure, which has the same functionality as Defining fields in an empty directory described previously. Or, you can also choose to define the field structure by importing from a CSV file, assuming the CSV file uses the first row to define the column headers. Please note, field names can only contain letters, numbers and underscore.


So that we know which fields to use to plot the asset position within a map, we need to know what type of data is being used, see previous notes. Select the relevant option as shown below

Select Choose file to import the chosen CSV file
