If you are not using GOV.UK Notify to send emails, you have the additional flexibility of adding an email header, which could include things like your council's logo etc.
These are added in the following screen:
Again, because Broadcast is designed for use across all departments of your organisation, it is possible that you will want to use different email headers to provide context to the emails being sent. Broadcast enables you to support as many of these as you like.
You need to give it a name and, importantly, this needs to be added using HTML:
The above header, purely as an example, will ensure the following is placed into the top of the email sent:
Having an email header obviously ensures that you can adopt corporate branding more readily.
