Choice Fields
This field type is exclusive to OpenProcess Flex and is used in mandatory fields that a user needs to complete manually. The different options provided can be used to drive different branches of a process. The following illustrates an example of a Choice field:
Note that you provide a Label for the choice, which officers will see and select as well as a value, which is the unique identifier for the choice and what will be used in branching conditions in process branches.
This field type, which provides support for many useful things. For example:
To provide a list of completed reasons
To provide a list of canceled/abandoned reasons
To act as a checklist of things a person needs to do for a step
To trigger a branch in a process
