OpenProcess

OpenProcess is IEG4's powerful workflow and case management solution, which you can read more about below:

In the context of Free School Meal Holiday Payments, there is two way integration with OpenProcess.

Because the online form:

  • Searches (reads) for a previous award for the claimant's NINO and the UPRN of the property

  • Pushes (writes) the details of the application into OpenProcess to enable the bank details to be used in the creation of the BACS file

Checking for a previous award

The service takes the applicant / partners NINO and compares this with already successful awards within the past x weeks. If they have already had an award they will be presented with a message like that shown below:

Note 1 - the actual text of the above message is whatever you wish it to be, as it is changeable in edit mode.

Note 2 - the form searches for successful awards within the past x weeks, where x is a setting that you let us know what you want to use. This needs to change within the past x weeks only because otherwise people would fail to get an award from one term to another if it just checked the past year. Simply let your project manager know the period of time you'd like to use - the default is 6 weeks.

Viewing applications

Unless you allow people to receive payments by voucher, the only screen that you'd need to look at in OpenProcess is 'Search Processes'.
