Settings

The following are settings used for the Missed Bin Collection form:

Setting

Example Value

What it does

EarliestReportingTime

08:30

The earliest on a given day that a person can report a missed bin about that day’s collection.

ReportingTimeLimitInHours

36

How long from 08:30 (in this case) on the day of collection in hours should a person be able to report a missed bin. This will ignore weekend days.

DisableReportingTimeLimitCheckOnGettingCollections

TRUE

When set to TRUE this will mean collections outside the ReportingTimeLimit but within the overall limit set in the integration (usually 5 days) will be displayed in the form. When the form is submitted a validation message is displayed to advise the citizen that the collection is outside the reporting limit.

EnableRetrieveButton

FALSE

This will enable a person to save the form for later. As it is only one page long we suggest keeping this to false.

NavigationBar

FALSE

As the form is a single page form it doesn’t make sense to have a navigation bar.

EmailFrom

rubbish@yourcouncil.gov.uk

Where you want the receipt the customer gets when completing the form to come from.

WasteIntegrationSource

WasteApi

This is IEG4’s API that is capable of speaking to any waste system now - IEG4 set this.

WasteApiKey

ABCDEF

This is the security key to allow your form to speak to the back office APIs - IEG4 set this.

WasteInstanceId

FEDCBA

This is an indicator specific to your council - IEG4 set this.

ToAddress

youremail@yourcouncil.gov.uk

This will send a copy of the form to this email address

AlreadyReportedCatchAllEnabled

TRUE

This is used where the Waste system does not hold details of which missed jobs relate to which bins. Where this setting is True we will display a single generic message if a job already exists regardless of how many bins are selected as missed on the form.

RoundSelectionMode

Multiple

Where this is set to 'Single' it will restrict the user to reporting only one round type per form.
