Free School Meal Holidays

Free School Meals are provided to eligible children throughout school term time.

But, as a result of efforts from those in the public eye, such as Marcus Rashford, there has been pressure on the government to make such meals available to these same children out of term time too.

Responding to this many forward thinking councils, like Trafford MBC, now have this in place. Forward thinking because the benefits to children of nutritious meals on their overall long term outcomes are well understood.

Online Application

The Application form captures the following data and has 5 integrations built into it that ensure:

a) the data received is high quality

b) only those that are eligible can successfully submit the form

c) fraudulent/repeat applications cannot be made

d) all decisions can be automated

The 'Who Are you' page asks about the applicant and the details on this are used to determine eligibility

The 'About Your Household' page asks about partner and children

The 'Payment' page asks about bank details

The 'Declaration' page is where they can review their answers and agree to your council's information governance and general declaration rules.
