To ensure councils could have as much information as possible in circumstances where the person is claiming UC, the eClaim has a dedicated page for Universal Credit. Designed in the exact layout of the UC Award letter, the page captures all the details of the person's UC award meaning the officer can make a better-informed decision on assessment.
There is also additional dynamic behaviour in the form such that where a person states that they have applied for/or are in receipt of Universal Credit no questions about tenancy, landlord, housing benefit payment are asked for unless the claimant is within an exempt group e.g. Supported Accommodation.
It is also possible, via settings, to request proof of Universal Credit on the evidence page.
