Change of Address

The purpose of the form is to enable citizens to provide details of who they are, where they live, their council tax account information and primarily to report a change of address.

General Functionality

The form supports three high level moving reasons, which are:

  • Moving out of the council area

  • Moving into the council area

  • Moving within the council area

The form also caters for:

a) The dynamic capture of the necessary data, evidence upload and thus applications for:

  • Uninhabitable discount/exemptions

  • SMI discount/exemptions

  • Carer discount/exemptions

  • Student discount/exemptions

  • Detention exemptions

  • Hospital/Residential Care exemptions

  • Disabled Band Relief

b) The capture of whether they’d like to notify multiple council departments

c) The automated award and termination of empty unfurnished discounts

d) The automated award and termination of empty furnished discounts

e) The automated award and termination of single person discounts

f) The set-up of a Direct Debit where a new account is going to be created because someone has moved out
