Technical Requirements
The IEG4 Blue Badge system is securely cloud hosted in Microsoft Azure meaning that there are minimal technical tasks for your IT team to complete as part of the implementation.
User Access
User access is via a standard internet connection to the IEG4 hosted environment in MS Azure. There are no other technical requirements for enabling users to access the system.
Secure email
Dynamic workflow notifications are sent by email through the IEG4 email relay which uses SendGrid. As part of the implementation your IT team will be asked to add the IEG4 SendGrid details to your Council's network policy in order that emails can be sent securely on your behalf.
Customer Portal hostnames
The IEG4 Customer Portal will be hosted in our MS Azure environment but we can ensure that the website address that the portal uses reflects your council's own hostname. This will involve a small amount of work by your network team to add in the relevant DNS entries.
Integrations
Standard integration connectors are available as described in the Integrations section of this document. We only require relevant API credentials in order to set these up for you.
