Workflow
The workflow tab contains all the stages and outcomes linked to the application / workflow type.
There are a number of different Workflows for different aspects of the system. The major workflows for Blue Badge are:
Blue Badge Application - created automatically if a new application has been received through the DfT. This is the same workflow that is used for Renewals
Blue Badge Appeals - created automatically if an Appeal is received after a refusal, or can be created manually if an appeal is received by any other method.
Blue Badge Fast Track - where no assessment process is needed. e.g. Terminal Illness, this workflow is a much shorter version of the Application workflow and is used to ensure the DfT print and supply the Badge within 5 days.
Blue Badge Replacements - created automatically if a badge is Lost/Stolen/Damaged.
Blue Badge - Badge or Application No Longer Needed - created manually if the applicant has no need for the Blue Badge any longer or if the applicant has passed away.
The major workflows for Freedom Pass are:
Freedom Pass Application - created automatically if a new application has been received through an online application. This is the same workflow that is used for Renewals
Freedom Pass Fast Track - where no assessment process is needed. e.g. Terminal Illness, this workflow is a much shorter version of the Application workflow and is used to ensure that London Councils print and supply the Pass within 5 days.
Freedom Pass Appeals - Currently manually created if an Appeal is received after a refusal, as there is no automatic aprocess within London Councils.
The major workflows for Taxi Card are:
Taxi Card Application - created automatically if a new application has been received through an online application. This is the same workflow that is used for Renewals
Taxi Card Fast Track - where no assessment process is needed. e.g. Terminal Illness, this workflow is a much shorter version of the Application workflow and is used to ensure that London Councils print and supply the Pass within 5 days.
Four other Workflows exist:
Change Party Data - allows editing of specific case data (Title, First Name, Last name, NINO, DOB) in case of errors in the application.
Customer Uploads Received - this is automatically created when an applicant uploads documentation through the self-serve portal.
Auto-Renewal - (Only available if requested by the LA) This is generated manually, either from the 'Summary' screen or by manually requesting it by clicking on 'New workflow' from the Workflow screen.
Query Escalation - This is a small worklow that is generated automatically from within the Blue Badge Application workflow or by manually requesting it by clicking on 'New workflow' from the Workflow screen.
