Local Search

This function is used to search for Cases within the CMS.

You will be presented with the Local Search screen as illustrated below:

You can perform a basic search using the following:

  • Badge/Pass/Card Number

  • Case reference number

  • Last name

You can also search using the advanced function.

Cases can be searched using the following fields:

  • First Name

  • Last name

  • DOB

  • Email

  • Postcode

  • NINO

You can use a wildcard feature within each search field. The wildcard is denoted by %. For example, if you want to find all cases with first 3 letters of the last name “bowman” you would enter “bow%” into the last name search box field. Wildcard also works at the start of the last name

The seach returns the following basic data:

Clicking on an individual Customer record will display the Customer record view.

The customer record displays all badges/passes/cards along with their current Status (Blue Badge only), these are:

  • Ordered

  • Issued

  • Cancelled

  • Replaced

Also shown are all cases associated with the Customer.

For Blue Badge only, clicking on a badge, displays the badge record data from the DfT National database :
