The Fast Track workflow is either started by an outcome from a new Application, or can be started manually.
If a new application is received, and a decision made to Fast Track it, then this is one of the options available from the 'Initial Checks screen:
If you select this option, this workflow completes at this stage and automatically starts the 'Fast Track' workflow. By pressing the WORKFLOW tab at the top you will see that the new 'Fast Track' workflow has been automatically started:
If you select this workflow, or if you have started the workflow manually, the following screen appears:
The only entry required at this stage is notes detailing the reason why a decision has been made to fast track this application. This is a mandatory field and of course is very relevant to DS1500 cases.
Once 'Continue' is pressed the following Badge/Card/Pass details are required. For Blue Badge, this will generate a request to the DfT for a Badge to be Fast Tracked.
For Freedom Pass and Taxi Card, it is data that will be needed to pass to London Councils when an API link is made available.
